Ghodrat Samadi wants to become a member of parliament, but he has a reputation for recklessness and taking arbitrary action. Deciding his best course of action is negotiating with assorted parties and politicians, none take him seriously until he's connected to a single, notorious incident.

یک استاد جوان دانشگاه که زندگی آرام و منزوی دارد و وقت خود را با خواندن و تدریس ادبیات پر می‌کند، با دختری جوان آشنا می‌شود که مسیر زندگی خود را به خاطر مردی که دوستش دارد، تغییر داده است. او قول داده است که در چهار شب متوالی، دقیقاً یک سال پس از آخرین دیدارشان، در مکانی مشخص با محبوبش ملاقات کند. برخورد استاد جوان با این دختر پرشور در طی این چهار شب، تغییرات قابل‌توجهی در زندگی و باورهای هر دوی آن‌ها ایجاد می‌کند. اکنون مفاهیمی مانند عشق، ادبیات و انتظار برای آن‌ها معنای جدیدی پیدا کرده است.

A young university professor, who leads a quiet and reclusive life and fills his life with reading and teaching literature, meet a young girl who has altered the course of her life for the sake of a man she loves. She has promised to meet her beloved at a certain spot on four consecutive nights exactly one year after their last meeting.
