در عروسی یکی از اهالی روستا با ساجد آشنا شدم؛ مهندس عمرانی که تجربه هر کاری را داشت. جمع‌آوری علوفه برای دام، خرماچینی، مکانیکی و هر کاری جز تخصص اصلی‌اش. ساجد می‌گفت: "میدونی اینجا دخترها فردای عروسی‌شون، سی مثقال طلایی که به عنوان مهریه گرفتن رو به شوهرشون میدن تا باهاش یه نیسان بخره و بزنه به دل کوه؟" چون اینجا شغل دیگری هم هست که خطرناک است، ولی در عوض پولش نقدی است. اتفاقاً ساجد این روزها وضع مالی خوبی ندارد و تصمیم گرفته بعد از مدتها دوباره به این کار برگردد. از او خواستم که اجازه دهد این بار من هم همراهش باشم.
